About Us
Oscar, the owner, started his career as a shoe maker in Mexico, at the age of 12. By the age of 18 he had mastered many styles of shoe making, from learning the different ways to making a shoe to finishing them. At the age of 23 he came to Chicago. He worked on a shoe repair in Evanston, and later he went to work in Ravinia. After working for many years in Highwood and Highland Park, he bought this very shop in 2017. He was joined by his son, Adolfo, to continue the shoe craftsmanship. Their goal is to continue the cobbler tradition and keep the craftsmanship alive.
